Your American Way of Life is NOT Sustainable

Presumptuous idiot—the operative phrase is “NOT sustainable”…
Your Amerikan way of life is characterized by historically unprecedented material living standards, unparalleled consumption levels, and an ever-improving quality of life—for an ever-increasing population. It is the lifestyle paradigm into which all living Amerikans have been born and to which most of you feel entitled.
Your Amerikan way of life is considered by most of you to be a birthright—a guarantee. Your sense of entitlement to your lifestyle is so deeply ingrained in the Amerikan psyche that it is beyond question—and comprehension. You take for granted that forces beyond your control and understanding will continue to perpetuate your inflated living standards for your continuously expanding population—forever.
What you have failed to grasp is the fact that your Amerikan way of life is enabled by resources that are finite in supply and dwindling in availability; resources that you have been consuming at unsustainable levels for generations; resources that will be insufficient to support your population level and living standard going forward.
The bottom line is that your “non-negotiable” Amerikan way of life is, in fact, NOT SUSTAINABLE. Rather, you are on the road to imminent societal collapse—and you apparently lack the collective will to change your course.
